Girls' Time (grades 5-6) - Adventure Rabbi

Girls’ Time (grades 5-6)

Girls’ Time   CLASS IS FULL

An Adventure in Jewish Education

5th-6th Grade Girls with Rabbi Jamie Korngold

  • Does your daughter blossom in girl-only space?
  • Does she cherish time with her friends?
  • Does she thrive in a calm but fun environment?
  • Are mixed-gender groups sometimes too rowdy or rambunctious for her?
  • Does she prefer smaller class sizes?

If so, then this innovative program may be the right fit for her.

Girls’ Time meets 9 times in 9 months and replaces Adventure Rabbi Kids (ARK) classes. The curriculum for Girls Time is distinct, focusing on experiential learning, Jewish culture, and friendship. Rather than meet at the school, we go on outings or meet in the Rabbi’s home.

Family Participation

Three times a year, Girls’ Time joins the ARK program for All-School Programs, to which siblings, parents and even grandparents are invited.  These festive celebrations help nurture the children’s understanding that as Jews, they are part of the larger community. Plus, they are loads of fun!

Rabbi Jamie Korngold

This class is taught by Rabbi Jamie Korngold, the founder of Adventure Judaism. She is thrilled to finally teach Girls’ Time, a class she dreamed up. Her priority is to create a fun, safe environment, in which kids can make deep and lasting friends, even if they came in knowing no one. She believes Jewish education should be fun, meaningful and preferably involve lots of yummy Jewish treats.

We can’t wait to welcome your child and your family into our community!

Sorry, class is full for 2019-20
