Looking for a relaxed way for your child to begin the journey
toward becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah?
ARK 3 students gather at the Adventure
Rabbi headquarters once a month, to explore the Hebrew they
will need during their Bar and Bat Mitzvah studies.
 They
will learn the aleph bet, master basic decoding and reading
skills, and come away able to read and sing some of the basic
prayers.
Our teacher, Rachel Cole, is not only
an energetic, talented and experienced educator but also a
singer and songwriter. Therefore, this class will NOT be filled
with boring nose to book Hebrew drills. Rather we will sing,
dramatize and laugh our way through our Hebrew studies.
Along the way we will learn about
Shabbat and other Jewish holidays, as well as Jewish customs
and traditions.
Appropriate for children in grades
5 to 7.

About Rachel Cole:
Rachel Cole recently moved to Louisville from Lexington Massachusetts.
She has taught in Jewish schools and led Sabbath and Holiday
services since 1999. She is a talented teacher and musician
and in 2009 was nominated as the "Best New Artist at
the new music awards in Hollywood CA. Kids love her enthusiastic
and engaging style.
