Join Adventure Educator Elaine Barenblat for “Hike and Hevruta” or, as we like to call it, Skin Up and Ski Down.

For the first part of this adventure, you will need skins to put on your telemrak or all terrain skis. Elaine will introduce you to Eldora’s beautiful uphill track, which crosses the entire mountain, starting at the magic carpet and winding through amazing glades. Our hike ends at the Lookout Shack at the top of the Corona lift with access to every type of run as well as an amazing view of the Continental Divide. Now for the second part of the adventure, we remove the skins and ski down hill!

This winter adventure will take anywhere from an hour to two hours, depending on the group’s ability level, so bring your burning existential questions about Judaism, life, or the weekly Torah portion, and we’ll see you there! Uphill access pass is $10. AT gear required.

Meet at the base of the magic carpet.

Join Elaine Barenblat to celebrate Shabbat on Snow.

Shabbat on Skis is back at Eldora! Meet at the Lookout Shack (at the top of the Corona Lift) at 11 am for 15 minutes of Shabbat schmoozing and Torah discussion. After that, we’ll hit the slopes and explore Edora’s amazing terrain! Purim is also this week, so you are encouraged to wear your silliest ski-able costume!
