Road Bike Ride – Boulder to Lyons
When: Sunday, May 20, 2007
9:00 am – 1:00 pm
What: Approximately 40-mile intermediate-level
round trip ride on rolling back roads through Boulder County to
Hwy. 66 and Lyons. Leisurely stop at the Stone Cup for snacks or
lunch and a discussion of the weekly parsha (Torah portion).
Bring: Road bike, patch kit or tubes, water bottles,
helmet, sunscreen, rain layer, money for lunch
Rain Policy: We bike in drizzle!
Who: All ages welcome. Must be comfortable riding
on public roads at a 12 mph pace (intermediate).
Fee:
$10
- $18 sliding scale per person helps defray costs of insurance and

Road Bike Ride – Boulder to Ward
When: Sunday, June 24, 2007
8:00 am – 12:30 pm
What: Approximately 40-mile advanced-level round
trip ride up Lefthand Canyon to Ward with a stop at the general
store in Ward for Gatorade, cookies, and to pet the three-legged
dog. Lunch afterward at Proto’s Pizza in Boulder with a discussion
of the weekly parsha (Torah portion).
Bring: Road bike, patch kit or tubes, water bottles,
helmet, sunscreen, rain layer, money for lunch
Rain Policy: We bike in drizzle!
Who: Ages 18+ welcome but must be comfortable
with an advanced hill climb and a 3700’ elevation gain.
Fee: $10

When: Sunday, September 30, 2007
9:00 am – 12:30 pm
What: Approximately 50-mile intermediate-level
round trip ride on mostly flats along the Platte River Greenway
to the Bear Creek Trail and then some moderate hill climbing near
Red Rocks. Lunch afterward at My Brother’s Bar next to the
REI flagship store with a discussion and celebration of Sukkot.
Bring: Road bike, patch kit or tubes, water bottles,
helmet, sunscreen, rain layer, money for lunch
Rain Policy: We bike in drizzle!
