Description
- General Fund – These donations help with the general upkeep of the organization. Funds can be used in the general operational budget and help with items such as the costs of the retreats, insurance, website maintenance, salaries, rent, etc. General Fund donations are extremely helpful because the funds can be used where they are most needed.
- Carole Wolfe Korngold Scholarship Fund – This is a restricted fund, which provides tuition scholarships for families who require assistance in order to afford our educational programs. To be accepted, families submit their most recent taxes and a letter explaining their needs. A committee evaluates the request. A donation to this fund is a great way to thank our educators.
- Rabbi Jamie Korngold’s Discretionary Fund – This fund is used at the Rabbi’s discretion. She uses it for expenses such as providing financial supplements to help people attend our retreats, additional scholarships, paying for staff not covered by other programs, continuing education, and so on. A donation to this fund is a great way to thank our founding Rabbi.
- Free Loan Society – This fund was established during COVID to help people who were having cash flow problems. People can borrow from it and are expected to give them money back with no interest when they can. The process of application is the same as the scholarship fund. A donation to this fund is a great way to thank our educators.
- Torah Fund – For 22 years, we’ve been carrying our Torah up and down mountains and through canyons. We’ve read from our Torah on the top of a 14,000′ peak and from the base of the Grand Canyon. People all over the world have read from our scroll. Now our beloved Torah is beyond repair. Please honor someone you love by making a donation to help us acquire a new backpacking scroll today.
Thank you to our fabulous Torah Fund Donors and General 2022 Donors:
