Join Rabbi Korngold for a Tu B'Shevat celebration and Shabbat adventure on snowshoes. We'll enjoy the quiet beauty of the Park in winter, and revel in the the unmatched calm of Shabbat on snowshoes.What better way to celebrate the new year of the trees than to snowshoe amongst them! What: Snowshoe hike and service

When: February 3, 2007. Meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Congregation Har HaShem parking lot (towards the back) 3950 Baseline Dr. Boulder 80303. The building may not be open, so don't count on bathrooms!

Where: Rocky Mt. National Park. Probably the Bear Lake area but we will decide last minute based on weather

Who: All age adults who are physically fit.

Duration: We plan to start hiking around 10 and stay out for 4 hours.

Required Gear: Snowshoes, poles, boots, warm clothing (long underwear, wool socks, hat, gloves, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, wind layers, pile etc. Avoid cotton.) extra warm clothing, snacks, lunch, water, a pack to put it all in. Optional: binoculars, bird or track guides, tallis.

Fee: $15 per person. Admission to the park is $15/car and is not included.
