Snowshoe hike and serviceWhen:
February 3, 2007. Meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Congregation
Har HaShem parking lot (towards the back) 3950 Baseline
Dr. Boulder 80303. The building may not be open, so
don't count on bathrooms!
Where:
Rocky Mt. National Park. Probably the Bear Lake area
but we will decide last minute based on weather
Who:
All age adults who are physically fit.
Duration:
We plan to start hiking around 10 and stay out for 4
hours.
Required
Gear: Snowshoes, poles, boots, warm clothing
(long underwear, wool socks, hat, gloves, sunglasses,
sun hat, sunscreen, wind layers, pile etc. Avoid cotton.)
extra warm clothing, snacks, lunch, water, a pack to
put it all in. Optional: binoculars, bird or track guides,
tallis.
Fee:
$15
per person. Admission to the park is $15/car and is
not included.
