Conversion with the Adventure Rabbi program. is a two-year
process. It involves elements that may be difficult to complete
in locations without a large, active Jewish community. If our program
does not suit your needs, please consult with other rabbis. (Referrals
available upon request.)
Requirements:

Successful completion of an Introduction to Judaism Class
-
Regular (approx. weekly) service attendance for two years
-
Attendance at all holiday and festival services
-
Additional Jewish studies course (i.e. Florence Melton)

Monthly meetings with the Rabbi

Agree to synagogue affiliation after conversion

Mikveh (ritual bath)
-
Circumcision or symbolic circumcision (Those who are already
circumcised are required by Jewish law to receive a ritual circumcision,
where a drop of blood is drawn from the penis by a qualified
Jewish surgeon or moel.)

Beit Din (A board of three Rabbis examines the candidate to
assure his or her readiness for conversion.)
