Your marriage began with a Jewish ritual, and we are here to help you end it with a Jewish ritual.
Our rabbis will guide you through the Jewish divorce process. This usually takes place after the completion of your legal divorce. We offer two choices:
- A Conservative Get. This will be facilitated by our Conservative ordained Rabbi, Rabbi Alan Shavit-Lonstein, and approved by the appropriate Beit Din. We recommend this option if your marriage was Conservative or if you hope to remarry a Conservative partner.
- A Reform Ritual of Release—This is not a halachic Get. The Ritual of Release is focused on spiritual and emotional closure. It can be done with or without your x-spouse.
The fees for the Jewish Divorce process depend on how complicated the process becomes. The Conservative Get is priced at $240/ an hour and generally takes the Rabbi 3 hours. An additional fee of approximately $840 will be paid directly to the messader gitten, to write the get itself.
The Reform Ritual of Release is priced at $500 or $250 for members.
