Adult Learning and/or Bar & Bat Mitzvah

Contract for Adult Learning and Adult Bar & Bat Mitzvah:

This form will serve as a contractual agreement for rabbinical services and enrollment in our Adult Learning/ Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah program.

The following are included:
1. Eight Zoom classes with Rabbi Lenza

If you opt for the Ceremony:
1. One-hour ceremony planning session with the officiant
2. 1.5 hours ceremony rehearsal with the officiant
3. Ceremony in NYC or on Zoom, with the group or private, as indicated by your selection
4. Use of our Torah (please note: when the Rabbi must fly to your venue, we use a one-third-size, paper, backpacking Torah)
5. Use of the Adventure Judaism prayerbooks (We own 100 copies)

Class Tuition 

• $950 for members of our congregation
• $1,100 for non-members.
  
  Ceremony Fees will be charged by the bookkeeper after your initial payment. Non-member, add $100 to these prices

• In NYC or on Zoom  – $3,600
• 1-2 hrs from Manhattan – $5,600
• 2-3 hrs from Manhattan – $6,100
• 3-4 hrs from Manhattan – $6,600
• Requires an overnight or a flight – $7,600 + travel expenses i.e. ground transportation, mileage plus / stretch seating airfare, 1-2nights lodging, meals
• Out of the Country – $8,600 + travel expenses i.e. ground transportation, mileage plus / stretch seating airfare, 3-nights lodging, meals

You will be responsible for the following expenses:
1. Tuition and Ceremony fees
2. All fees associated with site rental
3. Hebrew tutoring fees

Please Read This:
If you cannot make a session, please let the Rabbi know in advance so that a recording can be made and shared with you. Make-ups will not be offered.

Choose a Payment Method: 
1. Credit Card: If you opt to pay by credit card, there will be a 3.5% convenience charge.
2. ACH (Electronic Funds Transfer from Checking or Savings): To bypass the 3.5% credit card fee, you can use ACH for your payments.

Choose to Pay in Full or in Monthly Installments:

1. Pay in full
2. Monthly Installments: $500 will be charged today.  Your remaining balance plus a $35 payment plan fee is broken into four monthly payments, all due on the 1^st of each month. Payments begin the month after you register. If you register before the 20^th of any month, payments begin the month after you register. If you register after the 20^th of any month, your 1^st monthly payment will occur on the 1^st after a 30-day billing cycle has passed (e.g. if you register on January 21^st, your first payment will occur on March 1^st).

Discounts:
– Member Discounts are available

Extra Fees:
– Fees increase if the ceremony is outside of NYC.
– Please be aware that once you confirm your date and time with the Rabbi, there is a $250/fee for changing the date or time.

Refunds:
– If you pay in full, 50% is non-refundable. Four months into the course,  the entire amount becomes non-refundable.
– If you use the monthly payment plan, each payment is non-refundable.
