Join Rabbi Jamie for a Hike

Adults are invited to Rabbi Jamie for a hike.  This will be a casual hike, an opportunity to chat and get to know each other or catch up.

This is a great opportunity to experience one of the core philosophies of Adventure Judaism and Adventure Rabbi, the idea that being outdoors with others builds deeper relationships. We believe that shared experiences in nature, engage us in a manner that fosters deep and lasting friendships, inner contentment and peace. Come check it out!

Hikes leave from 2 places:

1.  Chautauqua Dining Hall: Parking can be tough! Leave yourself plenty of time to park.
2. Shanahan Ridge, one of Boulder’s most scenic trails. Meet at the corner of Lafayette Dr. and Lehigh St.

Free for members, non-members $25. No dogs, please. RSVP suggested in case we have to change trailhead.

Directions to Shanahan Ridge Hike

From Central Boulder:

• Broadway to the southern end of Boulder
• At Greenbriar traffic light, turn right, West – toward Mts. (Name changes to Lehigh)
• Trailhead is on your left at 1.6 miles, “Skip’ bus stop will be on your right.
• Turn right on Lafayette for plenty of on-street parking

From Denver:

• US-36 West to Boulder
• Take the CO-157 N/Foothills Pkwy exit toward CU stadium BUT on the exit ramp, stay right and take the S. Boulder Rd. ramp toward Table Mesa Dr.
  Turn left onto S. Boulder Rd (becomes Table Mesa)
• Continue west on Table Mesa, to a major intersection with Broadway turn left
• Broadway to Greenbriar, southernmost end of Boulder
