Bar & Bat Yisrael


Contract For Bar & Bat Yisrael

This form will serve as a contractual agreement for rabbinical services and enrollment in our Bar and Bat Yisrael program.

The following are included:
1. Seven learning sessions with Adventure Rabbi or Educator
2. One ceremony planning session with the officiant via GoToMeeting, Skype, Facetime, phone or in-person
3. One 
ceremony rehearsal with officiant
3. Private Bar or Bat Yisrael ceremony
4. Use of the Adventure Rabbi prayerbooks (We own 100 copies)
5. Membership for the Bar or Bat Yisrael candidate to the Adventure Rabbi Congregation during the course

You will be responsible for the following expenses:
1. Tuition
2. All fees associated with site rental if applicable
3. Rabbi’s travel expenses when travle is involved

– Continental US ($5,500 + plus travel expenses)
– Israel, Alaska, Hawaii & Canada ($7,000 + plus travel expenses, including 3 nights lodging) 

Rabbi Jamie Korngold
– Boulder, Colorado ($5,000)
– I-70 Summit & Eagle Counties, CO Springs, Castle Rock ($6,000)
– Denver, Nederland ($5,250) | Estes Park ($5,500)
– Other Locations in Continental US, ($7,500 + plus travel expenses)
– Alaska, Hawaii & Canada $7,500 + plus travel expenses, including 3 nights lodging)
– Israel ($8,000 + plus travel expenses, including 3 nights lodging)

1-hour a week for 10 weeks Tikkun Olam / Social Action Project
1-hour a week for 10 weeks Independent Learning Project
6 Shabbat Celebrations
5 minutes a Day to Practice Hebrew Prayers
4 Hours to Prepare Speeches and Presentation

Please Read This:
Our schedules are intricate and full, making it difficult for us to schedule make-up sessions. Therefore, it is important that the student arrive on time and prepared for their sessions.
If you must reschedule, we will do their best to accommodate you. However, in the following cases, a $50 fee will be charged for the first time and $125 will be charged any additional incident. The card used for this contract will be charged.

– Canceling a session with less than 4 hours notice
– Not showing up at a session
– Arriving at a session unprepared so that a make-up session must be scheduled

Payment Options, Discounts, and Refunds:
One Payment: 50% of the full payment will be non-refundable. Four months before the event, the entire amount becomes non-refundable.

Monthly Payments: Your total amount will be divided into a $500 deposit and monthly payments, which will begin today must be completed prior to your ceremony date.

All future payments will be charged automatically on the first of the month and are non-refundable. There will be an additional one-time service fee of $100, charged with the deposit, for monthly payment processing. (That means your first payment will be $600.)

If at any time during your payment plan, your credit card on file is declined, there will be an additional $20 service fee. In the case of a declined payment, this $20 service fee will be charged at a maximum of once per monthly declined payment.
