Itinerary:
Day 1: Camp at Lewis Lake (Dispersed camping)
- Park at Sugarloaf Recreation Area or West Lake Marie parking lot ($5/day)
- If West Lake Marie: Hike in on Lakes Trail (2 mi)
Day 2: Medicine Bow Peak Loop (from Lewis Lake Trailhead)
- Difficult
- 7.5 miles RT
- 1,712 ft elevation gain
- Summit Medicine Bow Peak at 12,008 ft elevation
- Highest point in Snowy Range!
Day 3: Browns Peak Loop
- Moderate
- 12.2 miles RT (or part of it if that is too long)
- 1,407 ft elevation gain
- Stunning views of alpine lakes!
Day 4: Dipper Lake Trail or Heart Lake Trail
