Hike with the Rabbi
Everyone is invited to join Rabbi Alan for a Shabbat Prayer experience like no other. We will take a relaxed morning hike (1.1-mile moderate trail with 203 ft elevation gain) on which we will stop along the way to notice the different steps of the Shabbat morning service, from gathering as a community, connecting to our traditions, and having a dialogue with our best selves. We will then return, taking notice of the way our prayer path can impact the rest of our day and week.
Cost:
Free to members, $18 for not-yet-members
Bring:
Water and appropriate clothing. Bring a friend if you want! Or come alone and make new friends.
Inclement Weather:
Our rain policy is to wear rain gear! We hike rain, snow, or shine. That said, if the weather is really uncomfortable, we might shorten the hike and go get hot coffee
RSVP:
Yes, please. We will give you the exact meeting spot when you RSVP. Sometimes we have to change the trailhead, so it’s important to know who is coming.
