The
Seder is broken into for sections, addressing different parts of
our world ecology and Jewish texts which remind us of our responsibilities
toward the earth. Each section has texts which require some explanation
and/or lend themselves to discussion either for the whole group
of for small groups.
The four sections
and some samples of fruits representing them:
1. Local Fruits:
Apple juice, apples, dried peaches, raisins
2. Israei Fruits: Dates, figs, pomegranate
3. Exotic Fruits: Clementines, Kiwi, coconut, dried papaya, bananas
4. Planting of Seeds: Soils, small cups and parsley seeds (will
be ready for Passover!)
